The council deferred action on a resolution appointing a member to the St. Charles Parish Communications District representing Emergency Medical Services pending receipt of a required nomination from Hospital Service District No. 1. This item will be considered at the April 6 meeting.
The Des Allemands Bulkhead Project is moving into phase three, with the council seeking additional federal funding through a congressionally directed funding request to the FEMA Pre-Disaster Mitigation Account.
