This law requires people to show documentary proof of U.S. citizenship, such as a passport or birth certificate, when they register to vote in federal elections. It also sets new rules for how states verify a voter's citizenship status on existing voter rolls.
- NayHR 1949 Unlocking our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2025
This law changed how the federal government reviews and approves applications to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) to other countries. It set new rules or timelines for the Department of Energy's decisions on these export permits.
- YeaHR 1041 Veterans 2nd Amendment Protection Act
This law changed how the Department of Veterans Affairs decides to report a veteran to the national background check system used for gun purchases. It says the VA cannot report a veteran as unfit to own a firearm just because the VA appointed someone to manage the veteran's money or benefits. A judge or similar court process must find the veteran is a danger before that report can be made.

This law changes how OSHA, the federal workplace safety agency, can issue emergency safety rules for workers. It limits OSHA's ability to put new safety standards into effect quickly without going through the normal public rulemaking process.

This federal law makes it a crime to publish or threaten to publish non-consensual intimate images, including AI-generated fake images known as deepfakes, without a person's consent. It requires websites and online platforms to set up a process to remove such images within a set time after a victim reports them.

This law cancels a federal rule from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management called "Protection of Marine Archaeological Resources." Congress used a process called the Congressional Review Act to disapprove the rule, meaning it does not take effect. Federal agencies generally cannot issue a new rule that is substantially the same without new authorization from Congress.

This law cancelled a Department of Energy rule that would have set new energy efficiency standards for gas-fired instantaneous water heaters, sometimes called tankless water heaters. Congress used a process called the Congressional Review Act to block the rule before it could take effect. Because of this law, the blocked rule cannot be reissued in a similar form unless Congress passes a new law allowing it.

This law permanently classifies fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I drugs, the most restricted category under federal drug law. This makes a temporary classification permanent and sets criminal penalties for making, selling, or possessing these substances.

This law requires health care practitioners to give the same medical care to an infant born alive after an attempted abortion as they would give to any other newborn. It defines such infants as legal persons under federal law.

This law requires federal immigration officials to detain non-citizens who are accused of certain theft-related crimes, such as shoplifting or burglary, even before they are convicted. It also allows state attorneys general to sue the federal government over certain immigration enforcement decisions.
