The department recommendation was a coastal use permit, pending final determination from the Office of Permitting and Compliance.

A new subdivision off Joe Lewis Lane in Hahnville was reviewed for local coastal concern. The department determined the project is exempt because it is sited on lands five feet or greater above mean sea level.
