The St. Charles Parish Council voted 9 to 0 on July 27, 2026, to pass an ordinance amending the parish's 2026 budget by $80,338,499.

The ordinance, titled "2026 Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget Amendment Number One," adds revenues and transfers to the budget, adjusts fund balances, and reapplies unspent construction and engineering money from 2025 to ongoing 2026 parish projects, according to the parish's own description of the measure.

All nine council members voted in favor: Michael A. Mobley, Holly Fonseca, La Sandra D. Wilson, Heather Skiba, Walter Pilié, Willie Comardelle, Michelle O'Daniels, Bob Fisher and Michele deBruler. No member voted against it.

The official vote record does not break the $80,338,499 down by project or department. That breakdown is not in the record this newspaper holds.

The vote is drawn from the official record of the meeting as published by the parish.
